eCompass: A Semantic Browsing Tool For Faceted Government Web Content

describes a tool, based on HyperGraphDB and the topic maps implementation, for navigating tagged content in a large government portal. The main interest here is an algorithm to dynamically synthesize an hierarchical view out of a set of orthogonal tags grouped into multiple facets.
